#hogsbackxmasinjuly is going to be even BIGGER and BETTER this year!!
We will celebrate #hogsbackxmasinjuly #winterfest in July from 29 to 31 July 2016 when the the magical mountain kingdom of the Amathole invites you to a Winter experience offering a
sprinkle of snow and fairy dust for the whole family.
The Hogsback (hamlet) welcomes you to be a part of our festival inspired by community energy and participation where everyone is cajoled to a feast of entertainment, crafts and activities. At the iciest time of the year we are letting off an explosion of warmth and wonder.
The Xmas in July Festival is a longstanding event which has developed an extensive reach and
reputation in the Eastern Cape. This village festival is beloved by families and SA travellers and
has a time honoured history in Hogsback.
Last year the festival successfully moved to the main road of Hogsback and this year’s festival
will be bigger and better with a large variety of crafters, lively buskers, bands and local
entertainment creating a buzz down the main road; all this to ensure you have a full fun-filled
lineup for the weekend.
There yet again will be Free hop-on / hop-off shuttles available throughout the weekend thus transporting you right from your accommodation to the festival.
It is time to put on your woolies & wellies; let’s shake up this snowglobe!
